The AI-powered operating system for the trades

Every lead answered. Every job priced right. Every dollar tracked.

PlumbLine Ops runs your trade business end to end — leads, estimates, crews, invoices, and marketing — in one system that keeps working while you're on the wall, on the road, or off the clock.

Built by contractors. Proven daily on a real painting company.

The leaks every trade business knows

Running the work is hard. Running the business shouldn't be.

Leads go quiet. Estimates get guessed. Invoices get forgotten. Margins vanish into hours nobody tracked. The industry's own numbers tell the story:

23%
of leads never get a response at all
more likely to win the job when you respond within the hour
9%
of contractors say they always get paid on time
1 in 4
companies couldn't survive two or three bad estimates

One login, not six subscriptions

The problem isn't effort. It's that nothing talks to anything.

A CRM here, an estimating app there, a calendar somewhere else, marketing nowhere — and you, re-typing the same customer into all of them at 10 PM, wondering what you missed. When it's one system, every piece feeds the next automatically.

The juggling act

  • Estimating app (doesn't know your CRM)
  • CRM (doesn't know your calendar)
  • Scheduling tool (doesn't know your invoices)
  • Invoicing service (doesn't know your jobs)
  • Marketing agency (doesn't know your work)
  • Group texts (know everything, save nothing)
  • Double data entry, every day

One system that feeds itself

  • Lead books itself → contact created
  • Contact → estimate, priced by your rates
  • Estimate signed → deposit invoiced, job scheduled
  • Job runs → client portal shows progress
  • Job paid → costs tallied, margin known
  • Job finished → marketing publishes itself
  • Zero re-typing. Nothing falls through.

What's inside

Every stage of the business, handled.

All the tools, organized the way you actually work — from the first click to the paid invoice to the marketing that wins the next one.

Your finished work becomes your marketing.

"I never know if the marketing money is actually working — or where the next slow week is coming from."

  • Custom website, built for local search
  • SEO project page from every finished job
  • Blog articles written from real work — nothing invented
  • Social posts for up to 11 platforms

  • Per-person booking pages for every estimator

Price it by math. Present it like a pro. Sign it tonight.

"I question myself on almost every estimate — too high and I lose the job, too low and I eat it."

  • Production-rate engine: measure the room, the price is math
  • Starter rate library from a real operating contractor — day one
  • Area templates: build a room once, reuse it forever
  • Live margin guard on every estimate
  • Target-price calculator — "can we do it for $X?" answered

  • Optional add-ons that grow the ticket
  • Interactive branded proposal — reviews, warranty, financing
  • E-signature + deposit collected at acceptance
  • Open/view tracking + automatic follow-up until it closes

The office runs itself while you run the job.

"Field all week, paperwork all weekend — and I still forgot to invoice somebody."

  • Multiple calendars with per-person access, Google sync
  • Crew schedules and role-based logins — they see their jobs, not your money
  • Team chat built in — kill the group text
  • Client portal: progress timeline, photos, documents, payments
  • Change orders e-signed before the extra work starts
  • Branded invoices with online card payment
  • Deposits at signature, payment schedules you design
  • Overdue invoices chased automatically
  • Receipt snap → AI reads it into job costs from the paint store
  • QuickBooks sync — no double entry

Stop wondering if you made money. Know.

"We're busy as hell — but when I finally look at the numbers, the margins keep surprising me."

  • Live dashboard: unpaid invoices, follow-ups aging, jobs unscheduled
  • Job costing: actual vs. estimate on every job, while it runs
  • Close rates and estimate analytics by period
  • Unactivated-quotes report — find the money going stale
  • Proposal engagement: know what they read and when
  • Campaign-to-invoice attribution — marketing measured in dollars
  • Year in review: which campaigns actually paid for themselves
  • Ask the AI: "how did last month actually go?"

Communication

Every conversation in one place. Nothing missed, nothing lost.

Client texts, emails, crew questions, portal messages — today they live in four apps and one overwhelmed phone. Here they live in one system the whole team can see.

💬

One inbox per customer

Email and text threads merged into one conversation with the full history — anyone on the team can pick it up cold and sound like they've known the client for years.

AI-drafted replies

One tap suggests the response — written from the actual conversation. Saved snippets handle the questions you answer ten times a week.

👷

Team chat, built in

Direct messages and job groups with photos and files — searchable, attached to the business, and still there when the crew changes.

🔔

Alerts that act

Client replied? Photo uploaded? Invoice overdue? The right person gets pinged with a one-tap jump straight into the conversation.

🌐

English ↔ Spanish

Two-way message translation with trade vocabulary — and the whole app runs in both languages for your team.

📱

Business texting, done right

Your own business number with carrier registration handled step-by-step in the app — the channel homeowners actually answer.

AI with a seatbelt

It drafts everything. It sends nothing without you.

  • "Build an estimate for the Hendersons like the last one" — done, waiting for your review.
  • Replies drafted in every client conversation, one tap to insert.
  • Receipts scanned into job costs. Reviews answered. Workflows built from a sentence.
  • Marketing written from your real jobs — never invented, never auto-published.

The rule that never bends: anything that leaves the building — an email, a text, an estimate, a post — waits for a human tap. The AI drafts. You decide. Every time.

Built for how you actually work

Set up in an afternoon. Runs from your pocket. Humans when you need them.

🚀

Setup Studio

A guided path from empty account to first estimate — with a one-tap starter library of real production rates and materials from a working contractor. No four-figure setup fee, no consultant.

📲

Runs on your phone

Estimate on-site, snap receipts at the counter, approve marketing from the truck, check the schedule from bed. Installs like an app — your clients get one with your logo, too.

🤝

Real support

Built and operated by people who run a trade business on this exact software every day. When you ask a question, the answer comes from experience, not a script.

Proven where it counts

We don't demo this. We run a painting company on it.

Every estimate, schedule, invoice, campaign, and published job page at TruCare Painters runs through the same build you'd be using. When we say the job log takes two minutes from the truck — it's because we do it from the truck.

Pricing

One plan. Everything included. Pay for what you use.

No feature paywalls, no hidden quotes, no four-figure setup fees. The software is one flat plan with every module unlocked — and the things that cost money when you use them (texts, postcards, AI) are billed at printed rates, like materials.

Everything, unlocked

Estimating, proposals, pipelines, scheduling, portal, payments, marketing, KPIs — one plan, every module. Add teammates as you grow.

Usage billed like materials

Texts, phone lines, postcards, and AI are metered at rates printed right on the pricing page. You pay for them when they're making you money.

Setup is free — and fast

Setup Studio and the starter rate library take you from signup to your first real estimate in an afternoon. Onboarding isn't a product here. It's just included.

Full price list publishes at launch — every number in the open, locked in for founding customers. Want in early? Get on the founders list.

Questions

The ones everyone asks.

Do I need the website to use the software?

No. The app runs your business on its own — estimating, scheduling, invoicing, campaigns, KPIs, all of it. The website is stage one of the loop: where the project pages live and where new leads book themselves in. Most owners add it once they see the content engine working.

I already use other software. Why switch?

Keep the parts of your current tools you like — production-rate estimating, interactive proposals, pipelines, follow-up automation are all here. Then add what a stack of separate tools can't give you: one record of every customer, marketing generated from your finished jobs, a branded client portal, built-in team chat, and campaign-to-invoice tracking. One login, zero double entry.

Does the AI make things up about my jobs?

No. Content is generated only from what you log — your photos, your notes, your towns. Customer quotes are only ever pulled word-for-word from verified, linked reviews. And nothing publishes or sends without your approval — that rule has no exceptions.

How long does setup take?

An afternoon, not a month. Setup Studio walks you through it step by step, and the starter library loads a working contractor's production rates and materials in one tap — you adjust the numbers to your market and start estimating.

What does my crew see?

Exactly what you decide. Roles are built by you with granular permissions — a painter can see their schedule, jobs, and chat without ever seeing your pricing, margins, or money screens.

Do I own my website and my data?

Yes and yes. Custom-built sites are yours on full payment — even if you later cancel the monthly plan. Your customer data is yours, exportable, always.

Less chasing. Better follow-up. Real numbers.
