This policy describes how Plumbline Operational Systems LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, the PlumbLine Ops application, and services we provide to trade businesses and their customers.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and business details you provide when creating an account or requesting services.
• Business records — estimates, invoices, schedules, contacts, photos, and related records our business customers create in the application.
• Communications — messages sent and received through the platform, including email and text messages, so our customers have a record of their conversations.
• Usage data — log and device information used to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our software and services.
• To send communications you or our business customers have requested or authorized.
• To process payments through our payment providers.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

SMS / text messaging program

• Program description: Businesses using PlumbLine Ops send service-related text messages to their customers — such as appointment reminders, estimate and invoice notifications, project updates, review requests, and occasional promotional offers.
• Opt-in: You receive texts only if you provided your phone number and agreed to be contacted — for example when requesting an estimate, booking an appointment, or signing up on a business's website or in person.
• Message frequency: Varies by business and by the services you've requested.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that business. You may also reply HELP for help. Opting out of promotional texts does not affect essential service messages you've requested, such as appointment confirmations.
• Fees: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Sharing & service providers

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform, under agreements that protect your information; when required by law; or with your direction. We do not sell personal information. Our processors include: Stripe (payments), Supabase (application database and authentication), Vercel (website hosting), Anthropic (AI processing of content you submit for drafting and assistance), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (phone and SMS delivery), Postproxy (social publishing), and Google/Microsoft analytics services.

AI processing

Some features draft content using AI systems — for example website copy, marketing drafts, and assistant replies. Content you submit for those features is processed by our AI provider to produce the draft, and every published change requires your approval first. We do not use your business records to train AI models.

Data between businesses and their customers

When a trade business uses PlumbLine Ops to serve its customers, that business controls its customer records. We process those records on the business's behalf and don't use them for our own marketing.

Security & retention

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements.

Your choices

You can access and update your account information in the application, unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any message, and stop text messages by replying STOP. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us below; we honor deletion requests except where retention is required for legal, billing, or security reasons.
